Booking Terms & Conditions

• Lesson Payments: All lesson fees must be paid at least two days in advance of the scheduled lesson date.
• Deposit: A refundable deposit equal to the cost of a two-hour lesson is required in advance.
• Cancellations and Rearrangements: Pupils must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Failure to do so will result in the full lesson fee being charged. NRB Driving School does not offer a specific COVID-19 cancellation policy.
• Car Hire for Driving Test: Payment for use of the NRB Driving School vehicle for a driving test must be made no later than one week prior to the test date.
• Cancelling Intensive Lessons: A minimum of six days’ notice is required to cancel intensive lessons.
• Appointment Confirmation: Pupils must have appointment confirmation before the start of the bookings.
• Appointment Changes: While every effort is made to keep to scheduled appointments, NRB Driving School reserves the right to cancel at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to vehicle breakdown, adverse weather or traffic conditions, or instructor illness.
• Lateness and No-Shows: If a pupil fails to arrive at the designated pick-up point within 15 minutes of the agreed time, it will be assumed the pupil is not attending and the full lesson fee will be charged. Where there are parking restrictions at the pick-up location, the pupil should arrive at least five minutes before the appointment time.
• Lesson Timing: All lesson times are approximate; instructors strive to be punctual but lessons may be affected by traffic or other factors beyond our control.
• Instructor Substitution: NRB Driving School reserves the right to provide a substitute instructor should the original instructor be unavailable for any reason.
• Test Appointment Priority: Driving test appointments will take precedence over other lesson bookings.
• Use of Vehicle for Test: NRB Driving School reserves the right to withhold use of a school vehicle for a driving test if the instructor deems the pupil not to be at the required standard.
• Practical Test Bookings: Where NRB Driving School books and manages a practical driving test on a pupil’s behalf, an administration fee will apply: £30 per date change and £100 if the pupil decides to take the test elsewhere after it has been booked by NRB Driving School.
• Test Booking Authority: By using our services, you authorise NRB Driving School to book, reschedule, or cancel a practical driving test on your behalf as needed.
• Test Changes and Cancellations: NRB Driving School reserves the right to make changes to or cancel a practical driving test booking at any time.
• Service Discontinuation: The school reserves the right to discontinue lessons or services at any time and is not obliged to provide a reason.
• Contractual Relationship: This agreement is strictly between the instructor and the pupil; NRB Driving School acts as an agent and is not party to the contract for tuition.
• Testimonials: Pupils who pass their driving test may be asked to provide a Google review and consent to a photograph for use on our website’s testimonial page.
• Liability: NRB Driving School does not accept liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the tuition vehicle or from acts or omissions of instructors, except where required by law.
• Payment Agent: Payment for current or future bookings may be made to NRB Driving School, acting as the instructor’s agent.

By booking lessons with NRB Driving School, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
